Brett Hummel graduated from Notre Dame University with degrees in Economics and Finance. As a freshman, he felt unprepared at his first career fair, leaving him anxious about job prospects. Discovering that companies struggle to find the right talent, he aimed to fix the system.
ProMazo began as an idea for his graduate thesis and grew into a company spanning 110 universities with over 2500 students. ProMazo reduces hiring costs by crowdsourcing parts of the recruiting process and suggesting ideal recruits, saving companies time and money.
Brett has kept ProMazo’s student focus, connecting 100,000 underrepresented students with mentors and aiming to cover 80% of public school tuition for Fellowship program participants.
Brett still isn't a fan of career fairs though.
